Amelanism +Stripe Amelanistic corns are believed to be the most popular pet snake on the market worldwide. These Corns simply lack the gene which normally codes for black pigment. The presence of a single gene for the amelanism gives rise to a normal looking heterozygous Corn. Only when both genes code for amelanism will the snake be amelanistic. This morph, after considerable work, led to the production of the stunning Candy Cane Corn and various other Types including the stripe and frosted pattern mutation
