Reticulated Pythons > Kayuadi Dwarf

Python reticulatus

Barrie has always thought that reticulated pythons were beautiful but due to their size potential felt it too dangerous to keep by the average hobbyist. A few years ago he was at a friends when he received a shipment of "Dwarf Retics" which were wild caught they were lovely and much more docile than was to be expected these animals were distributed to several breeders and subsequently bred and "Kayuadi" dwarf retics are now established as lovely captive bred animals. Reaching an average size for females of 8-10 feet and males 6-8 feet they are lovely snakes with some fantastic colour and pattern mutations on the market today with the introduction of the "Tiger" and "Albino" genes
