Rhacodactylus > Gargoyle Gecko
Rhacodactylus auriculatus
Gargoyle Geckos are beautiful creatures not quite as diverse a pattern and colour morphs as the crested gecko but we find them to be better dispaly animals often out in plain sight during the day.
They originate only from the southern third of Grande Terre, New Caledonia. They can be found in scrub habitat and along clearings in primary forest.
Their diet should have a higher percentage of insects to fruit puree than crested geckos
