Rhacodactylus > Crested Gecko

Rhacodactylus ciliatus

Crested Geckos are native to Southern Grand Terre, New Caledonia and at least one small surrounding island (Isle of Pines) they are semi-arboreal, spending most of their time in small trees and low shrubs. They will, however, seek out hiding places near the ground to sleep during the day. Crested Geckos feed on both insects and fruits and in most cases can be kept at room temperature. The crested geckos' ease of care, highly variable colour and pattern forms make it one of the most popular lizard species in the hobby today. We are ever striving to improve our geckos with the aim to produce Red Harlequin/Flame as this is a truly beautiful morph.
