Royal Pythons > Caramel Albino
Python Regius
This is a fabulous morph and rightfully very popular. Otherwise known as Xanthic Albino or Tyrosinase or T-Positive Albinos. They are albinos with the Tyrosinase gene switched on allowing them to develop some darker pigments and still retain the red eyes of an albino. Tyrosinase is an enzyme related to the production of melanin (dark pigments) in the skin. In the Caramel albino the Tyrosinase gene allows some pigmentation which most would agree makes them much more attractive than ordinary albinos which are tyrosinase negative. When all is said and done they are just so cool they will continue to grow in popularity.
