Royal Pythons > Spider

Python regius

What can you say about the spider morph. It is the ultimate reduced pattern morph out there. It is a dominant gene meaning that all those carrying the gene are spiders. There is no super form. They have reduced spider web type patterns on their backs where the normal darker patches would be on a normal animal also giving some crazy patterns on their heads but here is the good bit Spiders have Pied white sides. It is this white on the sides that sets it apart from the rest of the reduced pattern royal morphs. Being a dominant gene they are easily mixed with other morphs such as the Pastel producing Bumble Bee Spiders and with Super Pastels producing Killer Bee Spiders and the Lesser Platinum to form the Lesser Bee. A spider mixed with just about anything will produce a funky looking snake they are one of the most versatile morphs around a must for any breeding project.
